Nathaniel Stuart, LCSW

Philosophy of Care

Has your emotional pain reached a critical point? Do you feel more anxious and scared lately? Do you need guidance dealing with a specific issue in your life? Are you feeling overwhelmed with sadness and loneliness? I provide both brief therapy (1-12 sessions) with a very specific focus and long-term therapy to address deeper, underlying issues. Coming to therapy is often viewed as a weakness, however I appreciate how risky and anxiety ridden it can feel to open up to a complete stranger. In my professional experience, coming to therapy requires a great deal of courage and determination, deliberately and consciously facing yourself.

Monique Searight, PMHNP-BC

Philosophy of Care

Monique Searight is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with training and experience in treating adult patients with psychiatric disorders across practice settings, which includes: hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics. Some of her practice specialties include (but are not limited to) ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, and Schizophrenia. She has been a psychiatric nurse for over 10 years. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy University, and a Master of Science in Nursing, (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specialization), from Drexel University.

Monique's style of practice can be traditional (prescribing up to date psychiatric medications) or alternative medicine (natural treatments including but not limited to vitamins, supplements, lifestyle modification- diet, exercise, etc.). She believes in the mind/body/spiritual connection, with emphasis on how we are made up as a whole person and not a series of parts.

Monique strongly believes that medications assist greatly during recovery but are not all inclusive. She strongly encourages counseling/ therapy in order to obtain a new perspective, to learn new coping skills and to assist with processing past life events.
