Can Therapy or Counseling Help Me?

Working with a mental health professional can be the first step toward managing the issues in your life. Having a compassionate, objective professional on your side can make a big difference. In addition, counseling and therapy sessions give you a space to discuss your life freely and without judgment. For many, this space helps make valuable insights and changes.

Here are just a few of the reasons you might consider working with a therapist or counselor:

  • Anxiety issues
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Eating disorders
  • Grief and loss
  • Problems with children and teens
  • Abuse or trauma
  • Anger management issues
  • Addiction
  • Stress
  • Depression
  • Life transitions such as divorce or loss of a job
