About
I bring both clinical depth and lived human understanding to our work, blending evidence-based approaches with a compassionate, relational style so you feel seen and supported in meaningful change.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) with 23 years of experience supporting adults through trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, chronic illness, grief, and major life transitions. I specialize in helping clients navigate overwhelming seasons while balancing the many roles and responsibilities of daily life. My goal is to establish a strong therapeutic partnership that fosters meaningful and lasting healing.
I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy, parts work, and trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches to help clients understand patterns, build practical skills, and create sustainable change.
If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for something to shift, you do not have to face it alone. I will meet you with compassion and respect, offering both insight and actionable tools so you leave sessions feeling empowered. When you are ready, I invite you to schedule an appointment and take the next step forward.

Having lived experience with a multitude of situations and conditions, I use a whole person model approach to support a person in the exploration of their authentic self for healing, growth & development, and identifying their resilience in life's ups and downs.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience. Working with individuals of varying backgrounds and challenging issues—including addictions (all forms), complex post-traumatic stress, grief and loss, and difficult life transitions—has given me the ability to see and support people through their most difficult burdens, help them gain skills and insight, and uncover their strengths, capabilities, and resolve. People just want to feel better, have a sense of agency, and live life with some peace. I am honored to walk that journey with them.
I draw on a multitude of clinical modalities. Looking at an individual's history, childhood experiences, strengths, and challenges helps determine the best course of action—and the client always has the final say in their care. I am honest, compassionately confrontational, and reality-based, helping clients find the courage and insight to reach their goals.
I understand the difficulty in asking for help and the resistance to leaning on someone else to make real changes. I know the hurt you don't want anyone to know about and the deep-seated need to be understood. Let me walk alongside you—offering support, encouragement, and insight. Take that HUGE step forward and schedule an appointment. I am here for you.

Jerusha McClendon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has worked with many people experiencing mental health and addiction personally or in their family. Jerusha has 8 years of experience in the mental health field. She completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Ohio State University.
Jerusha believes there is a need to identify and understand where the seeds of doubt and fear come from, as well as how to connect with the seeds of hope and purpose in the present and the future. Her job is to facilitate the conversation and allow clients to gain insight into their condition and develop an action plan to change their lives.
Jerusha’s superpowers include listening empathetically, relating easily to others, and critical thinking. She believes that all people have purpose in life, and she wants to explore that purpose with clients. Additionally, she strives to create a safe place in therapy so vulnerability can be examined and gains made. Therapy is a change process. Join Jerusha in this change process so that you can be a changemaker in your life and spread that change to others in your inner circle.

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) with 8 years of experience supporting children, teens, and families impacted by trauma, abuse, anxiety, and depression.
