I believe that mental health deserves the same care and attention as physical health, and my work with military members has strengthened my commitment to reducing stigma and creating a supportive space where seeking help is seen as a sign of strength.
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University. Since 2018, I've provided compassionate, evidence-based care to adults with a variety of mental health challenges. My experience includes working with active-duty military service members and veterans with adjustment disorder, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, as well as providing outpatient care for individuals with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder. I understand that every person's journey is unique and create individualized treatment plans that support each client's goals.
I take a collaborative, evidence-based approach to care. Using medication management, psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, and person-centered therapy, I work with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan that supports symptom management and well-being. I value building a trusting therapeutic relationship through open communication.
Reaching out for support is an important first step. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, heard without judgment, and supported in working toward your goals. I would be honored to work with you as you navigate challenges, build on your strengths, and move toward the changes you want to see.
