Jake Timmins, LMFT

Philosophy of Care

His passion for helping families began during his time as a preschool Teacher and as a Family Advocate. Jake has always had a knack for supporting children with challenging behaviors and helping their families learn new ways of supporting their children in developing more effective ways of getting their needs met. Jake’s focus on the family system stems from understanding the importance of the overall health and wellbeing of the family unit. Hiss practice is trauma informed and culturally sensitive; he values each unique individual and family he works with.

Jake enjoys learning new things and different perspectives. He is constantly picking up a new book, watching a new movie or television show. He enjoys spending time outdoors, especially in the mountains, with his family, friends, and dog. He also enjoys riding his motorcycle.
