About Linda
Linda Beutel is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 13 years of experience working with others to offer new perspectives on improving the quality of life, love, and relationships. Her specialties include PTSD (adult and childhood trauma), depression, anxiety, anger management, and self-esteem issues that have resulted in unhealthy behavior patterns.
Linda received her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Bethel University. She uses trauma-informed therapy techniques, eye movement desensitization reprocessing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy to encourage the use of healthy coping skills. Linda also employs grounding, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques.
Linda believes therapy enables us to see the world through a new lens and discover how we fit into it. Learning to trust ourselves and our judgment allows for a richer experience. Linda encourages you to envision the adventure and begin again by reaching out today!

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
Due to my unique upbringing and life experiences, I'm drawn to come alongside others and assist them in navigating what can be very difficult, overwhelming, and confusing times in our life.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with those who have a desire to experience life and relationships at a deeper and more powerful level?
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I work best with those who are able to be both encouraged, celebrated, and at times, challenged to see things with an alternate perspective so as to increase the options available.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
You already have everything you need to grow beyond this moment, this challenge. I can help you navigate the new frontier as well as how to access that part of you that's been waiting to be acknowledged and developed.

What inspires you?
Seeing the sense of peace and empowerment in the eyes of another!
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Our initial time together will involve piecing together the elements in your life you'd like to address. There will be lots of questions which will allow us both to have a clear vision as to how to proceed.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
A sense of hope and direction as to the next steps.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I love to go to concerts, go dancing, and live on, in or near the water as much as possible.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
A wonderful sense of humor, especially in the more challenging moments!
