Kayla Thompson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who’s passion lies with couples and individuals with concerns about life transitions, anxiety, grief, and trauma. Kayla also works collaboratively with individuals and couples struggling with substance abuse, addictions, and unhealthy coping habits. Kayla is informed in mindfulness, anxiety, Internal Family Systems, trauma, and nutrition for mental health.

Kayla utilizes an integrated approach highlighting certain aspects in Internal Family Systems, cognitive behavioral techniques, and narrative based approaches. She believes humans are social beings who all need a sense of belonging and the past uncovers aspects that are affecting the present.
