She has spent most of her career in primary care providing preventative care as well as diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions including mental health disorders commonly seen in primary care. Her interest in mental health started as a registered nurse working inpatient psychiatric unit and addictions. Since that time clients with various mental health issues and illnesses gravitated toward her for help and treatment.

She now dedicates her career to treating mental health illnesses from children to adults.
