About Evelyn
Evelyn Holmes is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She also holds a certificate from the State of New Jersey as an Approved Clinical Supervisor and has over 30 years of experience. She has a long history of helping individuals and couples who have been having issues with life stressors. These individuals are unable to cope with daily issues that they may face and their goals are to be able to function better at home or at work and to be able to communicate and go through life without fear. They want to learn to relate better to those they come in contact with on a daily basis and have fulfilling lives. Evelyn specializes in anxiety and depressive disorders as well as relationship issues and grief, addiction, self-esteem, and anger management difficulties.
Evelyn received her degree from LaSalle University in Philadelphia. She holds a Masters of Arts in Counseling and she received a certificate in Drug and Alcohol counseling from the State of New Jersey. Through her professional endeavors and her caring nature and treatment approaches, she will help you develop and maintain the strength needed to live a healthy life. She will use several treatment approaches and give you the support you are seeking. Evelyn will utilize different treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, brief therapy, and /or addiction therapy.
Evelyn recognizes that we all are challenged at some time in our lives and may need the help of someone who can work with them and provide understanding and caring and support. Evelyn will help you gain a new perspective with techniques that will help you on your journey. You will learn new coping skills for whatever you are going through.
