About Provider

About Victoria

I am a Licensed Associate Counselor with 2 years of experience. My counseling approach is person-centered and tailored to meet each individual’s biopsychosocial needs. I specialize in working with adolescents through older adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood and personality disorders, substance use, self-harm, and emotional dysregulation. My professional background includes experience across outpatient programs, detox units, inpatient hospitals, and university counseling centers.

I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Stockton University. I integrate evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, and mindfulness.

I believe healing requires consistency, patience, and courage. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where clients can explore their emotions and develop greater self-awareness. I am honored to walk alongside each client, offering empathy, encouragement, and tools to support lifelong well-being.

Get to know Victoria

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I have a passion for the helping profession, and I experience the benefits of what I've learned personally and professionally in my own healing journey.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I work best with clients who are willing to engage in the therapeutic process. Where there's a will, there's always a way!

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Healing is limitless! There are ongoing practices we can do that will make us stronger as we learn, grow, and develop as individuals. Therapy, like life, is a trial and error process. It takes work, consistency, and lots of patience. But it's not always going to feel like a chore. Sometimes it will, but a time will come where these practices aren't going to be painful, but uplifting and habitual. Our focus goes from, "I have to take care of myself," to, "I want to take care of myself." When you come to therapy, we are both committed to your personal growth and wellness together, and finding joy in it.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

I want to get to know you and what you are looking for! I will give you a simple and warm understanding of therapy, and we will work together to set expectations and goals for our journey. I express unconditional positive regard, non-judgmental active listening, and a calm and validating presence.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

The most important element in therapy is finding the right fit. I am committed to getting to know my clients' interests, goals, backgrounds, and how they perceive themselves and the world around them. It is important to me to empathize, so I can incorporate tools and treatment models most authentic to their journey, as each individual's path to healing is as unique as a fingerprint. I use a person-centered approach and integrate multiple evidence-based practices.
