About Keisha

Keisha Sparrow is Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 25 years of professional work experience in the mental health field who has recently obtained her National Counselor Certification. Keisha has experience in helping youth, teens, adults, Vets, and Senior Citizens with different mental health issues including but not limited to stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, depression, grief, and trauma.


Keisha completed her Master's degree in Counseling at Alliance Graduate School of Counseling. Keisha also received a Master's degree in Professional Studies from Alliance Theological Seminary. She is a wife and mother of four children and has ample experience navigating the stressors and joys surrounding these areas. This, in addition with her professional experience, enables her to provide support and guidance that her clients are seeking. Keisha utilizes multiple treatment approaches to help her client's be successful in their mental health journey.

Why did you decide to become a counselor?

I decided to become a counselor because I have always been told that I am easy to talk to and that I am a good listener. I also enjoy helping people navigate through their daily challenges.


What types of clients do you work with best?

I can work with anyone as long as they are willing to work with me.


What's one thing you wish all clients knew?

I wish they knew that I’m down to earth and excited to learn from them just as they will learn from me.

I chose Thriveworks because I felt that we were a good fit and that I have a lot to offer to the clients that they serve.


What inspires you?

I’m inspired by my faith, my family, and my own personal experiences in life.

I would like to accomplish a connection where they feel comfortable enough to want to work with me.

I like to spend time with my family, listen to music, enjoy nature, and travel.
