About Zarah
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 9 years of experience in healthcare. Since shifting my focus to mental health, I have developed a strong passion for supporting individuals facing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, mood-related concerns, and everyday stressors. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel validated and supported as they work toward emotional clarity and stability.
I earned my master’s degree in nursing from Northern Kentucky University, completing my psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner training in December 2023. My approach to care is holistic and evidence-based, blending therapeutic support with medication management when appropriate to help clients build self-awareness and emotional resilience.
I believe the mind is incredibly powerful, and learning how to harness that strength is an essential step in healing. I am here to support you with compassion, understanding, and practical tools that promote lasting well-being. I look forward to partnering with you as you take the next step by scheduling an appointment.

"Coming from a minority background, I’ve felt the pressure to excel while juggling stress, expectations, and the constant push to keep everything together. I know what it’s like to strive for balance in a world that doesn’t always make it easy, and those experiences shape the empathy and understanding I bring into my work."
