About Sheree
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 7 years of experience supporting clients through life transitions, emotional challenges, and personal growth. I specialize in helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, self-doubt, and issues related to confidence, boundaries, and communication. My work is centered on creating a warm, collaborative, and grounded space where you can explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you.
I earned my master’s degree in social work from Rutgers University. My approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused strategies, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based techniques. I tailor treatment to each person’s needs, focusing on building insight, developing practical coping skills, and strengthening emotional resilience.
My commitment is to help you feel supported, empowered, and understood as you navigate healing and growth. You deserve a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. Whether you want to process difficult emotions, gain clarity, or work through barriers affecting your well-being, I am here. I would be honored to support you on your journey.

"I have always been fascinated by the power of human connection, and in my work, I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood—free from judgment."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
Therapy had such a meaningful impact on my own life, and I want others to also have extra support and a sense of clarity when experiencing certain challenges. I want them to feel less alone in their struggles and increasingly more empowered.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work well with people who are (or willing to learn how to become) reflective and introspective. I also work best with clients who are open to receiving and giving constructive feedback when the time is right.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Therapy is not only beneficial when dealing with hardships or mental health issues. It can also be a space for personal development, clarity, and a sounding board to exchange thoughts and bounce ideas. If your expectations were not met with a past or present therapist, it is completely okay to switch until you find the one who is the right fit.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can expect no pressure to share information, at any point. We will go at a pace that feels safe and manageable. My priority will be making them feel safe, respected, and not judged. The first few sessions will focus on us getting to know each other. Clients will slowly get a feel for my personality and therapeutic style, which will allow them to decide if they want us to continue meeting.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
Compassion is one of the core values that I demonstrate not only in my personal life, but wholeheartedly in my work. I truly believe that people do the best they can with the resources and knowledge they have. I believe in meeting people where they are emotionally, culturally, and developmentally honoring their pace and readiness, and not rushing the process.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Every individual brings their own strengths, challenges, beliefs, and experiences. Learning styles and personalities also differ. My approach takes this into account; it is collaborative, flexible, and integrative. There is not a 'one size fits all' method to therapy. I draw from several psychotherapeutic approaches and techniques that are specific and customize to each individual.
