About Lyndsey
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 8 years of experience providing therapeutic support to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My clinical experience includes working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief, bipolar disorder, addiction and recovery, stress management, adjustment disorder, and perinatal and postpartum mood disorders. I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where clients feel at ease and the process of beginning therapy is as smooth as possible.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Monmouth University. My approach is collaborative and non-judgmental, drawing on evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, strengths-based perspectives, and motivational interviewing to best support my clients.
My goal is to help clients build resilience and create a personalized path to healing that reflects their unique needs and life experiences. I am dedicated to walking alongside clients as they navigate challenges, discover new insights, and work toward meaningful and lasting change.

"As someone who has faced many challenges and adversities in life, I know how important it is to feel safe and supported, and I am here to provide a compassionate space where you do not have to face life's challenges alone."

What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are motivated and open to exploring the possibility of change within the therapeutic setting.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Everyone has their own unique skills and strengths, I am here to help empower you to utilize them to foster meaningful change.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In the first few sessions, we will work on building a rapport, most importantly, as it is important for you to feel comfortable.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice as a therapist is deeply informed by my belief that healing happens when we truly feel seen, heard and understood. My own life experiences with anxiety, family challenges, etc. have given me both empathy and humility in my work.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I truly take the time to understand your individual story, strengths, and challenges. I believe that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so I draw from a variety of approaches, depending on what resonates most with the client. I also value collaboration, meaning i regularly check in with clients about what feels helpful and adjust our work together to ensure therapy aligns with their goals, pace and personal values.
