I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with over 9 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, OCD, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, and addiction. I take a collaborative, client-centered approach and work closely with each individual to develop personalized treatment plans that support symptom management, improved daily functioning, and long-term emotional well-being.
I earned my master’s degree from the University of North Dakota and bring a thoughtful, integrative approach to care that may include education, coping strategies, and medication management when appropriate. My work is grounded in empathy, clinical insight, and evidence-based practices, allowing me to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals.
Seeking mental health support can feel challenging, and I strive to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. Together, we will build practical strategies to help manage symptoms, build resilience, and move toward lasting emotional wellness. I invite you tobegin your journey toward healing and growth.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
My journey into psychiatric nursing grew from witnessing the impact mental health conditions have on individuals and families. Through my training and clinical experience, I learned the importance of meeting people where they are and treating the whole person, not just symptoms.
My deepest motivation for becoming a psychiatric mental health practitioner is genuine desire to empower individuals and families as they face and manage mental health challenges
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best clients who may feel overwhelmed but are willing to engage in the process of care, seeking understanding, stability, and long-term mental wellness. My strength lies in building rapport, creating a safe space, and helping clients feel empowered in managing their mental health.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish clients knows that seeking psychiatric care is not a reflection of personal shortcomings-- seeking help is an act of strength and a meaningful step toward healing
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Your first session is welcoming, collaborative space to share your concerns and goals. Together, we'll review your history, explore treatment options, and building a personalized plan to support your mental wellness.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
Guided by empathy and respect, I provide evidence-based, compassionate care that honors each client's unique experiences and strengths, creating a safe space where they feel heard and supported.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor care to each client by first taking the time to understand their individual experiences, challenges and goals. Every treatment plan is collaborative and flexible, incorporating evidence-based strategies while respecting each person's preferences, values and pace.
