Life Coaching in Bethlehem, PA—Counselors, Therapists, and Life Coaches at Thriveworks in Lehigh Valley

Most of us know and understand just how important it is to take care of our physical selves: to fuel our bodies with nutritious food, to stay active, and to give ourselves a proper rest. Some of us even call upon a professional to help us reach our greatest potential in regards to our physical health, fitness, or strength. But many of us fail to use that same level of care when it comes to the remaining parts of ourselves.

“A life coach does for the rest of your life what a personal trainer does for your health and fitness.” –Elaine MacDonald

The life coaches at Thriveworks Bethlehem in Lehigh Valley can help you attend to the areas of your life you may be neglecting. They can assist you in identifying the need for change here; they can help you better understand what you want or what you’re missing out of life; and they can offer guidance for taking the necessary strides to get to your ultimate destination. Their direction will ultimately help you thrive in life.

What Exactly Is Life Coaching?

Life coaching is a newer approach to mental health care, but it is quickly growing in popularity, as its proven to help many individuals make positive changes in their lives. Counseling and therapy typically focuses on helping individuals address and manage challenges that pose harm to their mental or emotional health. Life coaching, on the other hand, typically focuses on helping individuals reach personal and professional goals, which will in turn help them reach greater success in life.

For a more complete understanding, here are some quick facts about these professionals and their expertise:

  • Our life coaches are dedicated to motivating and helping people achieve their goals.
  • They often tailor their sessions to each client.
  • Life coaches can work alone or with other therapeutic (or medical) professionals.
  • Life coaches are not the equivalent to therapists.
  • The International Coach Federation (ICF) promotes ethical standards for life coaches.

If you’ve got your eyes set on a goal and could use some help breaking ground, a life coach at Thriveworks Bethlehem is here to assist you. They’ll provide the motivation, encouragement, advice, and accountability that you need to succeed.

Can Life Coaching Help Me? What Are the Benefits?

We believe that everyone out there can benefit from working with a counselor, therapist, or life coach. If you’re looking for a little help in regards to setting or achieving goals—personal or professional—a life coach is the professional for you. And while a life coach’s care methods will depend on you, generally speaking, a life coach can help you to…

  • Create healthy goals that will best benefit you.
  • Get and stay motivated to achieve your goals.
  • Feel inspired to aim higher.
  • Find the strength to overcome challenges.
  • Improve your self-esteem.
  • Grow personally and professionally.

Again, your experience in life coaching will depend on your present circumstances, your hopes for the future, and your determination to make life happen the way you plan! Your life coach will help you fill in the blanks: the lack of motivation, the hesitation, the shortage of faith.
