Hello, this is Jung. I was born and grew up in another country. I came to America as a young adult. It is hard to adjust and settle in a different environment. Sometimes life throws us into a totally different world. If you are lost and want to find a way, we can take a journey together. I find happiness when you find yourself. I studied at Lehigh University and worked in different locations (school, family, hospital, and outpatient). I hope my experience can help you find your way.
I believe my clients know their own ways to make progress. I provide the space for clients to find themselves with validation and approval. Sometimes I challenge clients to face their fears so we can overcome them together.
Sometimes it is painful and scary to face our abyss. If you allow me to explore, I will be honored to take steps with you.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I went to seminary school to become a youth pastor in my country. In the middle of my education, I had the chance to come to America. I liked studying and staying in America. I studied God's thoughts and behavior in the Bible. Then, I started becoming interested in human thoughts and behaviors. I changed my educational path and started studying Psychology. Even though I studied to understand human thoughts and behaviors, I still had a passion for youth. This passion led me to become a school counselor. The passion extended to different age ranges.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I had a passion for youth first, and it extended to young adults and even to middle-aged and elderly people.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Be honest, be respectful, be responsible!
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
The first session is important for both therapists and clients. Clients and therapists get to know each other and find a dynamic. As building the therapeutic relationship, they inspire each other and make small changes in life. Remember, therapists also grow with clients.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Therapists can be as flexible as possible. Sometimes a therapist can be a good friend, a firm teacher, or a warm caregiver.
