Justin Ellis is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 5 years of experience in the mental health field. He is dedicated and compassionate about helping adolescents and adults address their unique life struggles. Justin has a history of working with individuals who present with anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, mood disorders, psychosis, substance use, trauma, academic, relationship, and life stress, as well as grief.
Justin completed his Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Wilkes University, a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Scranton and also obtained another Master's in Clinical Psychology. Justin utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and more.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Overview of my approach and what to expect when working with me! Clients are encouraged to share information during the first session and discuss how we can reach those goals! Clients are definitely encouraged to ask any questions!
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
Helping the client understand that deciding to engage in therapy is hard, but definitely okay and normal to seek out help!
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?

What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I love spending time with my wife and child. I also love spending time with friends. I also enjoy exercising for fun. I also love a good show or movie to watch! Spend time with my wife and family. I also enjoy exercise.
