About Lauren
Lauren Robison is a Registered and Board-Certified Art Therapist as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, ATR-BC) in the state of Pennsylvania working the last 5 years in a variety of settings supporting children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with trauma, anxiety, depression, severe mental illness, behavioral issues, and life transitions.
Lauren received her Bachelor's degree from Arcadia University and her Master's degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University. She works to offer person-centered, compassionate, and humanistic care utilizing art therapy. Art therapy allows for a bridge of communication from what is held in the mind and body to transform into a tangible product. This forms a shared language between client and therapist to join in a collective experience reassuring the client no longer must face their difficulties alone.
Her eclectic approach creates an empathetic understanding through the creative process as well as weaving in other techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness to work to meet the client wherever they are at in their walk of life. Lauren’s eclectic style allows you to come as you are and feel heard and understood, fostering a safe and confidential space to create, express yourself freely, and work to meet your desired goals. “Your life is a blank canvas, let’s make it beautiful,” says Lauren.

"As a Humanistic and Person-Centered Art Therapist, I believe in the power of creativity and the way art and others forms of the creative process can heal. "
