I'm Jenn Levito, MS, LAPC, and I believe you don't have to navigate difficult seasons of life alone. I work with children, adolescents, and adults who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and more, bringing specialized training in Trauma-Focused CBT and Prolonged Exposure to help alleviate symptoms and build lasting change. Many clients are looking for a safe place to process their experiences, better understand themselves, and find a path forward. Together, we build on their strengths and work toward greater confidence, connection, and meaningful change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, person-centered, and trauma-informed. I’ll meet you where you are, help you make sense of patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build on the strengths you already have. Together, we’ll develop practical tools and work toward greater confidence, connection, and meaningful change.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, especially when you’re already feeling overwhelmed. You deserve a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Wherever you are in your journey, we can take the next steps together. I invite you to schedule an appointment when you’re ready.

"I believe the strategies that once helped us survive difficult experiences can, over time, keep us stuck and I help clients see the resilience in those patterns, understand where they came from, and build something new in their place. "
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I have always been drawn to helping people feel less alone during difficult seasons of life. I believe that our experiences can shape how we see ourselves and the world, sometimes in ways that make it difficult to move forward. Counseling gives me the opportunity to walk alongside people as they explore those experiences, understand themselves with greater compassion, and find ways to move toward the life they want.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I enjoy working with clients who may feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns they no longer want to carry. I especially value working with people navigating trauma, life transitions, relationships, and changes in how they see themselves. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. I welcome clients who are ready to explore their experiences, build on their strengths, and take steps toward meaningful change.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew that healing is not a straight line, and needing support does not mean something is wrong with you. The thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that develop during difficult experiences often serve a purpose, even when they no longer feel helpful. Therapy can be a space to understand those patterns with compassion, recognize your strengths, and discover new ways forward.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and talk about what you hope to accomplish. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, challenges, and current needs, while making space for you to share at your own pace. Early sessions will focus on building trust, developing goals together, and identifying practical strategies that can support you between sessions.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I believe deeply in the resilience of the human spirit, even in the midst of profound pain. My practice is grounded in the belief that every person deserves to be heard without judgment, and that meaningful change happens within a relationship built on trust, respect, and genuine collaboration.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
No two people experience life's challenges the same way, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I start by listening closely to what each client needs and where they are in their own process, then draw from evidence-based approaches and theoretical orientations such as Humanistic, while adapting the pace and focus of our work together. For some clients, that means moving steadily toward processing difficult experiences; for others, it means spending more time building safety, stability, and coping skills first. I see therapy as a collaborative partnership, where the client's own goals, values, and readiness guide the direction of our work, not a predetermined plan I apply to everyone.
