About Alexis

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and confidence. I work with teens, adults, and couples who may be feeling stuck, questioning their self-worth, struggling to understand themselves or their relationships, or feeling overwhelmed by the demands of life. I also support clients who are working through relationship difficulties, seeking to repair and strengthen connections, or learning how to establish healthy and meaningful boundaries.

My approach is compassionate and collaborative. I help you identify patterns, strengthen self-worth, improve communication, and develop boundaries. You can expect a safe space where you're honest while working toward meaningful goals. I tailor my approach to your pace, helping you gain insight, build confidence, and develop healthier coping strategies.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially when handling things alone. You don't need to have everything figured out. Therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and begin making sense of what you've been carrying. My hope is that you leave each session feeling supported, understood, and more connected to the person you want to become.

Get to know Alexis

What types of clients do you work best with?

I work best with clients who may be facing challenges but are not willing to give up on themselves. I value working with people who are motivated to grow, willing to reflect on their experiences, and ready to take steps toward creating positive change. You don’t have to have all the answers or know exactly where to begin—what matters is having a willingness to try.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Healing is not always a straight line; there may be setbacks, difficult conversations, and moments of uncertainty along the way. What matters is continuing to show up for yourself, even when progress feels slow.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

First sessions are where we begin getting to know one another and understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your concerns, experiences, strengths, and what you hope to accomplish through the therapeutic process.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I use a person-centered approach by meeting each client where they are and taking the time to understand their unique experiences, needs, strengths, and goals. I recognize that everyone’s journey is different, so I tailor our work together based on what feels most meaningful and helpful for you.
