Starting Peak performance counseling

What is Peak performance counseling?

Peak performance counseling is a form of therapy or coaching that helps people increase their personal and/or professional success. By focusing on areas that a client would like to address such as time management and stress management, among others, Thriveworks Greenville therapists can help clients work to improve their lives and increase their functioning in areas they believe will make them more successful.

How does Peak performance counseling work?

In peak performance counseling, clients will work with their providers to establish goals and create a treatment plan that focuses on areas they want to improve on. These areas can include stress management, performance anxiety, career development, leadership skills, communication skills, and more.

Is Peak performance counseling conducted in person or online?

Peak performance counseling at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and through Online therapy. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.

How long does Peak performance counseling last?

The duration of peak performance counseling depends on the variety of the client's goals and their satisfaction with their improvement. In Thriveworks peak performance counseling in Greenville, SC, this process can a few weeks, many months, or even years—however long it takes for the client or counselor to feel satisfied. Treatment usually ends when it feels as though the client's goals have been met and they have the tools they need to achieve their version of success.

Need more help deciding?

If you’ve ever felt a “runner’s high” or experienced a time when you were “in the zone,” it was during these times that you were functioning at your peak performance. Every part of you was in a state of flow – a feeling of being fully energized by or engrossed in an activity.

Peak performance isn’t limited to athletics. Whether you are an athlete or an executive, being at your peak performance is essential for achieving your goals and maintaining consistency at your highest potential. In many ways, conditioning your mind for success is as equally important as conditioning your body for competition. A well-conditioned mind will increase your ability to perform at the highest level, both athletically and professionally.

What is Peak Performance?

Peak Performance is an intentional act of conditioning your mind to be able to function at its optimal performance – at its peak – anytime, anywhere. When the mind is conditioned, you have an edge on the competition. In the boardroom or on the playing field, you’ll see the difference that peak performance makes. If you want to master the skills for achieving superior results, it’s time to start a partnership with a peak performance counselor or coach today.

Thriveworks Peak Performance Counseling and Coaching of Greenville can help you improve your game, advance your career, or simply maximize your productivity in life. Your peak performance counselor will help you identify the roadblocks that prevent you from being more successful. A peak performance coach will help you increase your focus and challenge you to excel under pressure. There has never been a better time to get started with a peak performance counselor or coach. Call Thriveworks Peak Performance Counseling and Coaching today! (864) 952-4048

You Can’t Read the Label When You’re Inside the Bottle!

Why do I need a peak performance counselor or coach? Unfortunately, most people never reach their full potential in life. For some, peak performance is the exception, not the rule. Wouldn’t it be great to maintain peak performance throughout your career? As an athlete, what if you could compete at your highest level every time you faced your opponent? A peak performance counselor or coach can spot areas that need development. You can’t read the label when you’re inside the bottle. Sometimes, you simply need some to help you see what you can’t see. Your peak performance counselor or coach will help you “read the label” and identify anything that’s preventing you from achieving your peak performance. On your own, it’s just too difficult to recognize some of the areas that need to change.

Learn how to:

  • Maximize your productivity in all areas of performance
  • Increase your focus . . . and keep it
  • Maintain the highest level of productivity under the most challenging circumstances
  • Engage in effective problem-solving
  • Keep a positive attitude
  • Be your best under pressure

Kathy Hope is certainly committed to following Jesus Christ and is grounded in her beliefs and knowledge of the Bible. She offers wise counsel based on these beliefs, but is nonjudgmental and attentive to listening to others with compassion, understanding and care. She is thoughtful and wise in her counsel. She can be counted on to be trustworthy and ethical.

Kathleen Horn was so understanding and non-judgmental. She was really nice to work with and had a way of making me look at and think about things differently. She worked with me on coping skills and changing my thoughts so I could change behaviors and feel better. She helped me through a tough time and now I feel a lot less depressed and anxious. I would go to her again. Thank you for all of your help!

LaKimberly Dowdell was an excellent counselor. She was a great listener, while at the same time knowing precisely the right moment to provide her expert knowledge. She is very personable and caring, yet knows what to say to support the change you are seeking. I highly recommend her.

The only reason why my Family stopped going to see Ms. Dowdell is because I had to change jobs and at the time my schedule would not allow us to continue services. She made sure my Family had a great transition to another Provider and that we had continuity of care. Now that my schedule has a little more flexibility, I am very thankful to be able to continue services with Ms. Dowdell who still remembers my Family’s history like we were just in her office yesterday (over 1 year ago)! She listens intently and never puts you down, and helps you understand your emotions and what issues and problems you may be going through in a way that you can understand but clearly. Personally, I deal with a lot of stress and being pulled in a lot of directions, and would when I felt as though my words did not make sense coming out of my mouth, she would know how to piece together what I was saying and not make me feel bad for being too vulnerable and made my therapy sessions a safe space to learn and grow from them. I am forever grateful for how she is helping my Family accept what we need to accept, change what we need to change, and heal from the root of our wounds; wounds I did not know were there. I highly recommend her.

Emily was the first therapist I had ever gone to after thinking for a long time it would be good for me. I was stuck in a rut and repeating patterns and using coping skills that were no longer helpful to me. She helped me work through many of my personal issues, some which had been stewing since childhood. She always knew when to push and when to back off if a certain issue was too sensitive at that time. She is honest yet kind. I was sad to see her move out of Chicago but I will forever be grateful for the tools she helped me to develop for dealing with the sh**show that life can be sometimes. She helped me get back into alignment with who I really am as a person. I would highly recommend her for anyone who is struggling or even just looking for a little more balance in their lives.

Emily has been an amazing help in my life for the past couple of years. She helped me see my worth when I couldn't see it myself. She helped me with my grief after losing my father. She helped me overcome my addictions with drugs and alcohol. She taught me to be kind to myself and that everyday is not gonna be an amazing day and that's okay. She helped me accept that I don't have to know the outcomes to big life changes that it's best to go with the flow, wear life like a loose garment. Emily is such and amazing counselor and I am forever grateful for everything she helped me see. Emily cares tremendously and I know deep in my heart she is gonna continue being the sunshine in many more client lives. Emily has made a huge impact on my life and I don't think I will ever find a counselor as down to earth as she is. Chicago misses you already!!! :) :) :)
