Thriveworks helped save my life. Thank you more than words can express.”
Life seems to be going smoothly. You work or go to school, you spend time with family and friends, you might even build a wonderful relationship with someone special.
Then, as is the case with most of us, you come to a fork in the road:
- A relationship becomes more serious and you’re thinking about marriage
- A close friend or family member passes away
- You pick up a bad habit as a way to cope with stress, but that habit has transitioned from pastime to priority
- After not landing yet another dream job, you begin to re-evaluate your career choices and life direction
- You feel tired all of the time, and experience aches and pains that seem to have neither cause nor cure
You might be able to use pre-existing skills from previous trials to help you determine which direction you should take, or you might need some objective guidance.
At various points in our lives, we will undergo traumatic events or find ourselves in situations that are not quite ideal. Just like we seek medical care for routine checkups, experiencing sudden physical trauma or the effects of long-term wear, professional counseling and coaching is available to help us in periods of emotional duress.

Thriveworks Metrowest Counseling Can Help
6 months in and still coming. Have been helped immensely. Safety, convenience, compassion and (!) late hours really helped me commit.”
Whether you’re like the many already successful people who pursue counseling and coaching to help further enrich their lives or someone who is dealing with divorce, addiction or some other debilitating issue, finding a licensed and skilled counselor or coach in the Metrowest, Massachusetts, area should not be a difficult feat.
For many people, unfortunately, the process is incredibly frustrating. Even more so if you’re in pain and don’t particularly enjoy playing phone tag to wait to hear if a particular office can find a convenient session time (and accept your insurance).
From our early days in 2008, operating out of a one-room, windowless office in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to now serving thousands of clients in our 17 locations across the country, Thriveworks has always been dedicated to providing individuals, couples and families with growth-centered counseling and coaching care as soon as they ask for it.
The decision to seek counseling can be a difficult one, so we want the process to be as simple and as inviting as possible.
Counseling is a wonderful way to decide which direction you should take when you arrive at a fork in the road.”
Our counselors are fully licensed and credentialed leaders of their field. Many of our clinicians have been featured in trusted publications like Mashable, The Boston Globe, CNN, Chicago Tribune, Counseling Today, The Cult of Mac, Bleacher Report, The Monitor and Prevention, and stay up-to-date on current counseling techniques and knowledge.

We want you to leave each session better off than when you came.
