About Victoria
"As a skilled, trauma-informed therapist who has worked across several different modalities, I feel I am well suited to deal with most issues that are deep rooted in trauma."
Victoria Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LCDC-I) with 15 years of experience in the mental health field. Victoria specializes in working with adolescents and adults with a wide range of trauma. Her ideal client is one who has experienced trauma that interferes with their relationships. They are wanting to be able to deal with the traumatic experience and learn ways to deal with others in an appropriate way, using healthy coping skills.
Victoria completed her Master of Science (MS) in Counseling Psychology at William Carey University. She began her career working in the school system with at-risk kids at an alternative school. It was there she learned about meeting clients where they were, as the kids she saw came from a variety of backgrounds and had a variety of issues and concerns. Victoria is able to work in a nonjudgmental, compassionate manner. She is available when the client needs her, evenings and weekends included. Victoria works with the client’s family as well to help the client adjust to their environment with the newfound ability to cope with their stressors and triggers. If you are ready to address your trauma, schedule an appointment with Victoria as soon as it’s convenient.
