Swati Bajpai, LCSW
Philosophy of Care
Swati Bajpai is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in treating anxiety, grief, trauma, depression, and life transitions in adult clients. Swati has 5 years of experience in the mental health field, including her work with public health and her training in suicide prevention with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL).
Swati completed her Masters in Social Work from University of Illinois, Chicago, Jane Addams College of Social Work. An empathetic clinician, who has lived and traveled in different continents and different cultures, she understands that environment and family situations impact mental health. Swati speaks English, Hindi, and Urdu.
Swati seeks to build a trusting, nonjudgmental relationship with her clients. She will help you explore and secure your strengths while working simultaneously on limitations. The aim of therapy is to understand and know oneself to secure a more meaningful and better quality life. Swati uses mindfulness-based, cognitive behavioral, strength-based, emotionally-focused, and solution-based therapy. She meets her client at their comfort level and builds a therapeutic relationship based on the client’s unique circumstances and appropriate coping skills.
