Get to know Bianca

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I became a counselor to help others. I am compassionate and empathetic. I want to walk alongside you during your journey and equip you with the tools and resources you need to empower yourself.

What types of clients do you work with best?

I love working with all clients! I try to create a safe space so we can work as a team to overcome any challenges and uncertainties you may have.

What type of clients are you most excited to work with?

I am excited to work with all clients and to learn from you all. I want to listen to you objectively and help you solve your problems.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?

You are capable of achieving whatever you set your mind to. Change is possible!

Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?

I chose to practice at Thriveworks because I love the work they do within the community and how they have changed so many lives.

What inspires you?

There are many things that inspire me: My mother, son, and friends.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

During our first session together, we will start with brief introduction. I will ask you a lot of questions about yourself, why you are seeking treatment, how you cope, and your symptoms (it's basically an interview). We will also chat about goals for therapy, expectations, and more. I will answer any and all questions you may have.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

During our first session I want to build a positive experience for you and establish/build rapport.

What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?

I try to create a safe space and we do things at your pace, there is no rush.

What do you do for fun/on your time off?

I love to eat and travel!

What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?

One thing that defines me is traveling. I love traveling to different places (cities, countries, states) and learning about different cultures and traditions.
