About
As a first-generation daughter of immigrants, I’ve learned that healing begins with knowing our stories, our struggles, and our strengths. Through that knowing, we open the door to growth, change, and solutions that honor who we are and where we come from.
I am a Licensed Social Worker with 5 years of experience. I provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges such as trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, life transitions, and identity development. I often work with adolescents, emerging adults, BIPOC communities, and individuals navigating cultural identity, family dynamics, and generational expectations. Many of my clients seek relief from overwhelm, disconnection, or self-doubt, and I support them in building resilience, fostering self-understanding, and creating solutions that reflect their values.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. In my work, I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and narrative and humanistic approaches to help clients manage emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, develop insight, clarify values, and cultivate self-compassion.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting, and I deeply honor the courage it takes to begin therapy. In our work together, you will be met with compassion, understanding, and a safe space to share your story without judgment. My goal is to guide you toward growth, healing, and a stronger sense of clarity and connection.

OCD counseling is a specialized therapeutic approach aimed at supporting individuals coping with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The goal of this counseling is to help clients manage and alleviate the distressing symptoms of OCD by systematically addressing their obsessive thought patterns and compulsive behaviors.
In OCD counseling, Thriveworks Woodridge therapists use cognitive behavioral techniques, including exposure and response prevention, to assist you in addressing and managing your obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors. An OCD therapist will collaborate with you to identify and modify irrational thought patterns while gradually and gently exposing you to anxiety-triggering situations, helping to disrupt the cycle of obsessive-compulsive rituals and promote healthier coping strategies.
Thriveworks OCD counseling in Woodridge, IL is conducted both in person and online by video. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.
The number of sessions for OCD counseling is variable, contingent upon the individual’s unique needs, the severity of their condition, and their progress during treatment. Typically, Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), commonly used for OCD, comprises around 12 to 16 weekly sessions, but the exact session count can be customized based on the individual’s response to treatment and therapeutic objectives. Some opt for a more extended duration to comprehensively manage symptoms and address complex issues.
