I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 15 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care. I work with children ages 10 and older, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, trauma, and psychotic disorders. I earned my master’s degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama. Alanys has worked at organizations aimed at helping teens learn leadership skills, develop self-esteem, and plan for their educational future. Alanys believes in a holistic approach to treatment that accounts for mind, body, and emotions.

Alanys received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Behavior Health from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She utilizes mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and interpersonal therapy.
