I am Yebu Jalloh Charles, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with experience in outpatient psychiatry, crisis stabilization, and geriatric mental health. I work with individuals across the lifespan facing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and behavioral concerns. Many of my clients seek clarity, emotional stability, and effective treatment strategies to regain control of their mental health and improve their overall quality of life. 

My approach is patient-centered and evidence-based, combining thorough psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and supportive therapy. I specialize in ADHD, depression, insomnia, mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders across the lifespan, helping clients achieve stability, improve functioning, and build lasting coping strategies.

Karen Coefield is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 18 years of experience in the mental health field in a variety of settings. Her passion is working with young adults and adults dealing with life's transitions and challenges that pose barriers to their personal, professional, and relational goals while being mindful of the impact that culture, trauma, and other external factors play in these challenges. Karen specializes in anxiety, major life transitions, stress management, and mood disorders. Karen completed her Masters of Science in Professional Counseling at Georgia State University.

Karen has supported adults in various stages in life in breaking cycles that have kept them from moving forward and discovering new ways of thinking and being that align with their values, goals, and dreams. To do this, Karen utilizes approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing.

We all have periods in our lives where we feel stuck. Karen will work with you to identify the thoughts, behaviors, and emotions that have you stuck and help you find new ways of engaging with your world so that you can move toward a healthier, more fulfilled life. Karen Jacobs-White is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 30 years of experience. She supports individuals navigating issues such as anger, attachment issues, caregiver issues, chronic pain/illness/disability, codependency, communication problems, control issues, natural/human disaster, divorce/separation, addictions, family of origin, forgiveness, guilt/shame, isolation/loneliness, military family issues, mood disorders, multicultural concerns, panic disorders, PTSD, pregnancy/childbirth, relationship issues. Karen provides a warm environment where clients are encouraged to explore their emotions and move toward healing.

Karen holds a Master’s in Counseling from Webster University. She uses a comprehensive approach that includes acceptance and commitment therapy, emotionally-focused therapy, Gottman method, trauma-focused therapy, and internal family systems to tailor care to each client’s unique needs, always emphasizing safety, trust, and personal growth.
