As a mom, who knows how busy life can be. I know how important it is for us to be present and well for those we most care about. I have an understanding of what it takes to make life changes in order to see different outcomes for our future.
I am Elizabeth Solano, LMHC, with over 10 years of experience in mental health. I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients—from young children and adolescents to adults—navigating depression, anxiety, substance use, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and life transitions. I've also worked closely with the LGBTQIA+ community. I offer sessions in both English and Spanish.
I believe everyone has strengths, and I make it a point to highlight yours throughout our work together. I'll take time to get to know you as an individual—your interests, your passions, and what brought you to therapy in the first place. I'm here to listen without judgment, learn from you, and work collaboratively toward the goals that matter most to you.
We all need support sometimes—a listening ear, a fresh perspective, or help sorting through our thoughts. I know how hard it is to take that first step, but I assure you it's worth it. You are not alone, and I'm here when you're ready.

I am a therapist who works with you to focus on the tougher issues in life so that there are more days in your life that will feel easier. I don't see stress as a disordered response to trauma so much as it is your body and a natural reaction to the environment it lives in. This may sound simple in theory, but by addressing stress and pressure in life, together we can find ways to identify life's glimmers- those tiny sparks of joy that allow light into our days.
My name is Katrina and I am a Trauma Recovery Therapist. I have a background in post-traumatic stress, trauma recovery, behavioral change, and family dynamics. If you are someone who can identify your desire to take steps—no matter their size—toward change, or if you're simply looking for answers about why you feel the way you do regarding life's challenges, we could be a good fit. I have worked with survivors of sexual trauma and domestic violence, and I have experience with those who have experienced incarceration. I am empathetic, optimistic, realistic, and challenge-driven. My goal in therapy is to help you realize your goals.
An open and honest dynamic is important to me. I'm not intimidated by emotions and I'm willing to challenge unhelpful beliefs. Stress, depression, anxiety, compulsion, and trauma are treatable conditions given the right space, time, and resources. When you make time to care for yourself, you're taking a step that deserves recognition—it is a leap forward.
I commend you on considering a change in your life. I encourage you to ask questions and find answers that you are comfortable with. Let's sit down together and make a plan for the next part of your great adventure- leave everything on the table, whatever led you this far, listen to that and take the next step.

As a therapist with a diverse professional background, I help my clients identify their own strengths and build new ones so they can achieve their personal goals and live joyful lives. I provide a safe and warm space so my clients can feel welcomed and secured and we can build a strong alliance.
