Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I became a psychiatric provider because I believe mental health is essential to overall wellness. I wanted to work with individuals to help them overcome challenges, build resilience, and develop the tools needed to achieve greater emotional balance and improved functioning. I am passionate about providing compassionate, personalized care that supports each person’s unique needs and goals.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I support individuals who are seeking guidance through life’s challenges, personal growth, and times of transition. I partner with clients to better understand their experiences, develop coping strategies, build resilience, and create meaningful change through compassionate, personalized care.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

I wish all clients knew that reaching out for support is a courageous step toward growth and healing. Everyone faces challenges, and you do not have to navigate them alone. With patience, self-compassion, and the right support, meaningful change and greater emotional well-being are possible.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

Clients can expect a warm, supportive environment where they feel heard, understood, and respected. We will take time to explore their concerns, goals, and experiences while building a foundation of trust and creating a personalized plan to support their mental health and overall wellbeing.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

My practice is guided by compassion, respect, and the belief that every person has the ability to grow and heal. My experiences have reinforced the importance of feeling heard, understood, and supported during life’s challenges. I strive to provide care that is genuine, personalized, and focused on helping each individual achieve greater well-being.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I approach care by taking time to understand each person’s unique experiences, goals, and challenges. I believe support should be personalized and centered around each individual’s needs, values, and journey, incorporating evidence-based approaches, education, and practical strategies to promote growth and overall well-being.
