Caroline Carlson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of North Carolina and Florida with over 8 years of experience. She is passionate about navigating adults, senior adults, and older adolescents through the challenges of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and distress. Caroline's goal is to facilitate self-discovery of answers from within each client so they become equipped and empowered to move through the struggle to a renewed sense of peace and purpose.
Caroline specializes in providing counseling to individuals who provide care for loved ones with serious medical conditions, including Dementia. As a result of her professional experiences in the hospital, hospice, assisted living, and private therapy settings, Caroline brings a trauma-informed and compassionate approach to her work with clients. She utilizes multiple treatment modalities including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), person-centered (PCT), and solutions-focused therapy (SFT).
