About Provider

About Sean

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Florida. I work with adults navigating life transitions and challenges including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, addictive behaviors, and intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. Whether you're adjusting to a major change, feeling stuck, or wanting something different for your life, I believe therapy can provide a space to better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and move toward what matters most to you.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel comfortable exploring what's important to you. Together, we'll work to understand the patterns keeping you stuck, develop practical coping skills, and move toward your goals.

Starting therapy is a personal decision, and you don't have to know exactly where you want to end up before taking the first step. My goal is to meet you where you are and support you as you work toward the life you want to live. If you feel we may be a good fit, I invite you to schedule an appointment.

Get to know Sean

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I became a therapist because I wanted to help people navigate difficult periods in their lives and feel less alone in the process. I value the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, help clients recognize their strengths, and support them as they move toward positive and meaningful change.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I work best with adults who may be going through a difficult transition, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or stress, struggling with relationships, or simply feeling stuck in life. I enjoy helping clients better understand what they’re experiencing, recognize their strengths, and take meaningful steps toward the life they want to live.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

I wish clients knew that they don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Growth takes time, and difficult thoughts and emotions are a normal part of being human. Therapy can help you learn how to respond to those experiences differently while continuing to move toward what matters to you.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

In the first session, my focus is on getting to know you, understanding what brought you to therapy, and learning what you hope to get out of the experience. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or share more than you’re comfortable with. As we continue working together, we’ll identify your goals, build on your strengths, and develop an approach that fits your individual needs.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

I value compassion, curiosity, and treating each person as an individual. I believe everyone has strengths and the capacity for growth, even during difficult periods in their lives. I also value being open to different perspectives and continuing to learn, both personally and professionally. These values shape the way I approach therapy and the relationships I build with my clients.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I don’t believe there’s a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I take time to understand each client’s experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals, and tailor my approach based on what works best for them. I draw from different therapeutic approaches and adjust along the way based on the client’s needs and the progress we’re making together.
