Kaamilya Wedwick is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who hasyears of experience assisting others in acheiving their mental health goals. She specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use. Kaamilya aims to create a therapeutic space by remaining non-judgemental where her clients feel welcome to heal.

Kaamilya completed her Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is also certified in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). Kaamilya defines herself as an eclectic therapist and will use treatment modalities that best fit the client’s needs, but often uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

Joey Trine is a Board-Certified Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC-BC) a member of the Illinois Association of Adult Development and Aging (IAADA), and former program development chair for IAADA. She has more than 6 years of experience working with adults and seniors who are experiencing variations of grief, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, depression, impulse control, trauma, and issues in effective communication & boundaries. 

She graduated with her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, with Chi Sigma Iota honors in 2018. In sessions, Joey utilizes an eclectic approach that includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic methods, Rogerian methods, emotionally-focused techniques, and dialectal behavior therapy (DBT). 

Joey recognizes progress is not linear and focuses on a team-based approach to counseling. She promotes autonomy and “being one’s own expert.” Joey is enthusiastic about providing clients with tools that will assist them in current moments and in the future.

I have to give Joleann nothing less than a 5 star review all the way. Her leadership skills were on display every day in the Psychiatric Rehab department. Leading a staff of more than 8 people in the department was no easy task and yet Joey did this with, what appeared to be, great ease. Extremely organized and ready to handle any situation that may arise. She always made time for her staff when ever any kind of guidance or support was needed. Even if it was just a smile and a few positive words to help make your day go a little brighter. On a personal level Joleann is a very empathetic and professional clinician. Going through several months of dealing with a personal tragedy she was there to listen, offer guidance and support whenever needed. She even helped answer questions when it came to confusing paperwork or dealing with frustrating phone calls that needed to be made. She is a true asset to the team.
