About Talia
I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with experience providing care across outpatient, emergency, correctional, and community settings. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, mood disorders, life transitions, stress, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients are seeking symptom relief, greater self-understanding, healthier coping skills, and improved overall well-being. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.
My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and individualized to each client's needs. I incorporate medication management, psychoeducation, supportive therapy, and practical coping strategies to promote lasting growth. Clients can expect a nonjudgmental space focused on building resilience, improving functioning, and achieving meaningful personal goals.
Taking the first step toward better mental health can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate it alone. Whether you are facing a difficult season or seeking personal growth, I am here to provide support, guidance, and encouragement along the way. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing, balance, and lasting well-being.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
Psychiatric Provider.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, stress, burnout, mood disorders, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients are highly motivated individuals who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from the life they want to live. I enjoy helping clients gain insight, develop practical coping skills, and build confidence as they work toward meaningful change.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Healing is rarely a straight line. Progress often comes with setbacks, difficult emotions, and periods of uncertainty, but that does not mean you are failing. Growth happens through small, consistent steps over time. Seeking help is a sign of strength, and you do not have to have everything figured out before starting the process.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
During our first session, I focus on getting to know you as a whole person rather than just a diagnosis or symptom. We will discuss your concerns, personal history, strengths, goals, and what you hope to gain from treatment. In the early stages of care, we work together to develop a treatment plan, identify areas of focus, and begin building tools and strategies that support your overall well-being. My goal is to create a comfortable, collaborative environment where you feel heard and supported.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is guided by compassion, authenticity, respect, and the belief that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and understanding. Working in a variety of mental health settings has reinforced my belief that people are far more than their diagnoses and that meaningful change is possible when individuals feel supported, empowered, and genuinely heard. I value meeting clients where they are and helping them build on their existing strengths.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I recognize that no two clients have the same experiences, challenges, or goals. I take the time to understand each person's unique circumstances, strengths, cultural background, and preferences before developing a treatment plan. I use an individualized, evidencebased approach that may include medication management, psychoeducation, supportive therapy, and practical coping strategies. Together, we adjust the treatment plan as your needs evolve to ensure it remains aligned with your goals.
