I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a doctorate in Counseling and Supervision. My background spans private practice, outpatient mental health, school and medical settings, alongside experience teaching as a university professor. I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. I help clients explore what’s beneath the surface to find clarity, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose.
My approach draws from cognitive behavioral, emotion-focused, strengths-based, traumainformed, and solution-focused therapies. I tailor our work to your individual needs and goals, helping individuals and couples create meaningful, lasting change.
I look forward to creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly heard. Together, we’ll make sense of your experiences, process emotions, shift patterns holding you back, and build healthier connections. If you’re ready to gain deeper insight, create meaningful change, and move toward a fulfilling next chapter, I invite you to reach out.

"I bring a warm, collaborative, and genuinely present approach to therapy, helping clients make sense of where they are, reconnect with who they are, and draw on their strengths to move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and authenticity."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
My path to becoming a therapist grew from a genuine curiosity about people, what shapes us, how we make sense of our experiences, and how we come to understand one another. Over time, I discovered a natural ability to listen closely, look beneath the surface, and appreciate that there is rarely just one perspective to a situation. As I moved into the field, I realized these qualities allowed me to connect with adults and couples in a way that felt both natural and deeply meaningful. What began as a desire to understand people evolved into a career I value deeply, and I remain grateful for the trust my clients place in me.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I enjoy working with adults and couples who are seeking greater understanding of themselves and their relationships. I’m especially drawn to those navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, or patterns that no longer feel helpful, and who are open to reflection, new perspectives, and meaningful change.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew that therapy is not about being told what to do or having someone “fix” you. It is a process of gaining insight, developing a deeper understanding of yourself, and having the space to work through what may be getting in the way of the life or relationships you want. Change takes time, and there is no one right way to heal. What matters is having a safe, supportive place to be honest, curious, and understood along the way.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Our first session is an interactive, conversational space where we will walk through your story and what brought you to therapy. Early on, our focus is a gradual process of building trust so you feel secure opening up and sharing your thoughts and feelings. Together, we’ll work as a team to clarify goals, make sense of patterns, and build a path forward.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I approach life with a steady optimism and a deep appreciation for the grit it takes to navigate difficult chapters. In my practice, this translates to showing up with real honesty, a warm presence, and an unwavering commitment to your progress. I am here to provide a reliable partnership, offering both the gentle support and steady encouragement you need to move forward.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I approach therapy as a true partnership, which means our sessions are naturally shaped by your unique goals. Depending on what you need, we will balance processing deeper emotions with using practical tools to reshape unhelpful thought patterns. By blending real honesty with a warm, steady presence, I ensure our work fits your specific life and pace.
