Hi! I am Ebonik Corbett, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I specialize in partnering with adults and teenagers ages 14 and up navigating life transitions, anxiety, grief, substance use, trauma, and self-esteem. I am Jessica Hutchison, a licensed professional counselor associate (LPC-A) with almost two years of professional experience. I have worked mainly with children ages 4 to 18, providing family therapy and parenting sessions, though I am trained to work with all ages. My clients have faced ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, substance abuse, ODD, suicidal ideation, self-harm, stress-related disorders, and mood disorders — wanting to manage symptoms, learn to love themselves, become more successful, or simply "not be sad anymore." I want to help all of my clients become the best and happiest versions of themselves. 

The main techniques I have used with my clients are play therapy, CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, client-centered therapy, mindfulness training, psychoeducation, reflective listening, and goal setting. I believe in clear, honest, open communication between therapist and client to help build a healthy and trusting rapport.

Katherine “Katie” Blackley is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 3 years of experience in the field. Her primary focuses are identity issues, life transitions, family and relationship issues, trauma, grief, and mood disorders. She has completed additional training programs focused on counseling family members of people with terminal illnesses. Katie also has a passion for working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and has experience working with people of all age groups.

Katie received her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winthrop University. Her counseling approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy and a person-centered approach. Depending on the client's needs, she also utilizes narrative therapy, attachment theory, internal family systems therapy, and play therapy for young children ages 4-12.

Katie's primary goal as a counselor is to work with each person and help them find a deeper understanding of who they are and where the problems they are dealing with stem from, and help to strategize on realistic goals that can help each person become more content with themselves and their life situation. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Gonzaga University, a Master of Professional Studies in Public Relations & Corporate Communications from Georgetown University, and a Master of Arts in School Counseling from the University of Denver. This past year, I completed courses at Clemson University's Clinical Mental Health program for my LPC-A in South Carolina. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and hold an Initial School Counseling Certificate in South Carolina. While I primarily work with children and teens, I enjoy supporting clients across all stages of life.

I will listen and support you in a warm and nurturing environment and will be a positive support on your journey. I frequently incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a strengths-based approach to support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma. I can use Play Therapy to address emotional and behavioral challenges in younger clients.

I am a passionate and dedicated mental health professional with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University. I hold my LPC in South Carolina. My career journey has led me through a variety of settings, including my practicum and internship experiences at a Crisis Pregnancy Center and Union County Public Schools. My clinical experience began with an Assertive Community Treatment Team. I then transitioned to outpatient therapy services. 

The majority of my work focuses on helping individuals cope with depression, anxiety, trauma, and life stressors. I work with clients ranging from 13 years old to adults, utilizing a holistic approach to support their mental health and well-being. I pride myself on creating a safe and compassionate space for people to work through their challenges.
