Beth Phillips is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia. She works closely with adults between the ages of 21 and 70 who are struggling to function to the fullest potential in their daily life. 

Beth holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Georgia in Athens (GO DAWGS!) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Argosy University of Atlanta. Beth subscribes to the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Social Workers, of which she is a member.

Beth’s clinical approach is intentionally eclectic, empathetic, and person-centered, valuing a highly connected client-therapist relationship. Her practice is informed significantly by CBT, DBT, and a diverse mix of other theoretical approaches, however, remains based in mindfulness and maintains the flexibility required to best meet your needs.

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 15 years of experience in the mental health field and over 25 years of work in human and social services. I specialize in trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault recovery, substance use, and criminal justice–related concerns. I am known for my compassionate, empathetic, and open-minded approach, helping clients feel safe, supported, and understood as they work toward healing and stability.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Georgia State University and my master’s degree in professional counseling from Grand Canyon University. I am a nationally certified counselor, a certified grief counselor, an advanced certified clinical trauma specialist, and a certified forensic mental health evaluator.

I take an existential, humanistic, and solution-focused approach to therapy, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, and client-centered therapy. Janae Thompson is an Associate Professional Counselor with experience as a mental health provider in various clinical settings. She has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Janae specializes in working with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, identity development, relationship issues, and life transitions. Her experiences as a 1st-generation Jamaican-American woman influence her to prioritize a multicultural counseling approach. Janae’s warm demeanor creates a safe space for her clients to feel comfortable.

Janae Thompson holds an M.S. degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a B.A. in Sociology. Janae uses several treatment approaches including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, and person-centered therapy.

Jessalyn Palmer is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Georgia and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) who has 15 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. She has a keen interest in helping you through the challenges and opportunities of life through a compassionate and non-threatening process. Jessalyn completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from LaGrange College in 2003 and received her Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University in 2005. She uses an integrative approach drawing from cognitive-behavioral, developmental, interpersonal, and attachment theories. 

Jessalyn will help you create balance, have increased confidence, and help you to thrive! She believes in creating a warm, collaborative, positive, therapeutic relationship with each client. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids. She plays the cello in the local symphony and loves to walk and play with her two dogs!

Christy Metz is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology. She has 21 years of experience in treating individuals enduring mild to severe mental health issues. She wants to help those who are wanting to overcome the obstacles and issues they feel are adversely affecting their daily lives. She thrives on being able to not only empower her clients but help them improve their ability to recognize how certain thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, can impact the ability to cope with various life stressors.

Christy has provided care for those enduring mild to severe mental health issues. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and rational emotive therapy. She is certified in trauma counseling, grief counseling, anxiety, stress, and depression management. Through her compassionate and nonjudgmental approach, Christy is known for her solid rapport with clients where developing trust is paramount. Jana Lea Walker is an integrative Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor with over 25 years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse field. She specializes in treating adults who are suffering from depression, anxiety, mood disorder, substance use, interpersonal, trauma, infidelity, and grief. 

Jana completed her Master's Degree at the University of Nebraska. She also has extensive clinical experience working with children and adults who've experienced significant trauma. Jana has also worked with high-risk minority youth dealing with substance use, trauma, and gang involvement.

Hannah has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has been a licensed therapist since 2014. She has worked in a variety of settings with several populations. Her first experience in this field was working in long-term residential treatment for individuals struggling with severe and persistent mental illness. Since that time, she has worked in an inpatient psychiatric facility, residential programs, intensive outpatient agencies, and an outpatient clinic.

Hannah found a passion for supporting individuals and families struggling with substance abuse disorders. In doing this work, she has discovered that many people struggling with addiction also struggle with trauma, mood disorders, and anxiety. The stigma of mental health in our society is often amplified by the addition of substance use, and Hannah continues to find fulfillment in supporting individuals addressing a variety of challenges. Hannah believes her role as a therapist is to facilitate people finding their voice and honoring their own inherent ability to heal. She enjoys and appreciates working with diverse populations and people of all backgrounds.

Dr. Jan Miller is a Licensed Psychologist with 18+ years of experience in the mental health field. Jan is trained as a generalist and works with clients who have depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-worth, relational concerns, and substance use issues. She specializes in eating disorders. Jan is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and she utilizes Health at Every Size (HAES) and body neutrality in her clinical work. Jan's clinical approach is evidence-based and grounded in the therapeutic relationship. She works hard to provide a safe, affirming, and honest space for clients to feel heard, seen, and connected.

Jan completed her Ph.D. at West Virginia University, but previously worked to serve clients in the mental health field with her Master of Psychology. Her focus on building relationships with clients allows her to work successfully with a range of clients. Jan tailors her clinical approach to what the client needs, using evidence-based, ethical practices.

Lisa Salyer is a Licenced Clinical Social worker with over five years of experience in the mental health field. She received her Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville. She has extensive experience providing individual and group therapy for a diverse population. Her work has involved counseling survivors of domestic violence, those struggling with substance abuse, adults with relationship issues, those struggling with grief or childhood trauma along with other mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. 

To provide the best care possible Lisa adapts her therapeutic approach to best fit the needs of her clients. She utilizes an integrated therapeutic approach pulling from cognitive behavior therapy, solution focused brief therapy, and mindfulness practices.
