Jill Ginisi, PMHNP

Philosophy of Care

Jill Ginisi is a psychiatric nurse practitioner in the state of Massachusetts. Jill has a diverse background  spending several years as a registered nurse floating to different specialties advancing her knowledge.  Jill spent her last 3 years as a psychiatric nurse where her passion resides prior to obtaining her Master

of Science in Nursing with a specialty in psychiatry from Regis College. As a psychiatric nurse  practitioner, Jill will provide clinical assessment and therapeutic care to adults who are seeking help with  their mental health.

Jill can assess, diagnose, and treat mental health needs of patients. Jill believes developing a trusting,  therapeutic relationship with strong communication is the key to success. Jill likes to view the individual as a whole and understands each person is different and can have unique needs. Although, medication  management is Jill’s specialty, that is just “a piece to the puzzle” as she feels being self-aware of the  matter and incorporating different techniques can be beneficial. The overall well-being of someone’s  mental health should be treated no different than a medical diagnosis.

Jill seeks to establish a professional yet caring relationship with you to help identity your needs, educate  and incorporate you into your goals with a treatment plan to help you achieve the desired outcome. Jill  believes living a good quality and meaningful life is a significant priority.

Philosophy of Care

Healing is not for the faint of heart, rather it is a journey and not a destination. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, mood swings, trauma, life transitions, substance abuse, religious struggles, couples/marital issues, family relationships, myriad of medical issues, and/or loses of different combinations, we will work together to achieve the goals you desire in a holistic manner. We all need someone to talk with in a world of "virtual reality" to work through the treasures of our hearts that we hold dear. Be encouraged, you are not alone.

In therapy, we will use a myriad of different skills and techniques that are tailored specifically for you and your needs/goals. We all have different personalities and ways that we perceive the world, in which, we need to learn how to manage the different stressors that arise.

Talking to a stranger about your hurt, pain, sorrow, disappointments, is not easy. But you have the strength within you to reach out for help where you will have a warm and welcoming space awaiting you. We will work together towards your goals, and you will always be encouraged as you know yourself more than anyone else will ever.

Robert Davis, LMHC

Philosophy of Care

Robert Davis is a Licensed Mental Health counselor who specializes in working with adults who have anxiety, depression, bi-polar, anger, trauma and substance use issues. Robert is particularly focused on adults who are severely depressed, anxious, and have anger issues as well as adults struggling with addiction: whether addiction to substances, gambling, internet or otherwise. Robert believes in a holistic and integrative approach to addressing both the client’s addiction and their recovery and that their substance use issues are tied to the client’s mental health, and therefore must take center stage as well.

Robert implements varied modalities of therapy depending on the client and their needs. The primary modalities Robert uses in therapy sessions are CBT, DBT/Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Expressive Art Therapy, Harm Reduction and Trauma Focused CBT. Overall, he operates from the person-centered approach created by Carl Rogers back in the 1950’s that posits the client as the expert and believes that the clients ultimately hold the solution to their problems and with the right guidance from the therapist can be healed.

Robert has been heavily involved in community outreach and providing individuals and family members extensive psychoeducation regarding addiction and recovery in group settings as well as providing education and resources for individuals who have suffered various forms of abuse, have been homeless and need housing. In addition to working with adults, Mr. Davis has works with couples, adolescents, and families.

Robert completed his undergraduate studies in 2008, majoring in Anthropology and Psychology and graduated in 2014 from Antioch University of New England located in Keene, NH with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is currently a licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts.
