Bapuamoyo Kambeya, LPC
**Accepting New Clients**
Bapuamoyo Kambeya is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. She had the honor of helping children, adolescents, and adults for the past 8 years in individual therapy, and family therapy settings. She spent much of that time working with trauma survivors including refugees resettling in the US, and survivors of other trauma including sexual assault, community violence, hate crimes, domestic violence, and childhood sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, and neglect. Additionally, she has a passion for supporting the healing work for people of varying ethnicities who have experienced racial abuse within their communities, workspaces, and families.
Throughout her career, she has maintained a commitment to provide quality care by studying a variety of therapeutic modalities. She is an Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1 therapist and has completed certification training for both Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT). She has studied Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and she is also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. These modalities allow her to pull from a variety of interventions to tailor therapy to the needs of her clients.
Bapuamoyo prides herself on creating an atmosphere of collaboration with her clients to foster self-empowerment and healing. Her empathetic and warm approach helps her clients to feel heard and understood especially when discussing tough topics.
If you find yourself going in circles with the same issues over and over again and you are ready to get off of that merry-go-round, you have come to the right place. Take the next step towards the life you envisioned for yourself. Bapuamoyo would be honored to walk along beside you for a little while to help you get there.
