About
I take a whole person approach to mental wellness, blending evidence based care with genuine empathy to help you regain balance and confidence in your daily life.
I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and hold a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) with over 15 years of psychiatric nursing experience across inpatient, outpatient, and crisis management settings. My practice is rooted in providing compassionate, evidence-based, and holistic psychiatric care tailored to each individual's unique journey. I work with adults and teens navigating a wide range of mental health challenges.
My clinical style is grounded in collaboration, empathy, and communication. I believe healing happens when care addresses the whole person, not just symptoms. While my primary focus is medication management, I strongly advocate for comprehensive treatment. I partner with therapists and providers to ensure your care aligns seamlessly.
Taking the first step toward mental health support is a courageous decision, and you don't have to navigate it alone. You deserve a supportive provider who truly listens and meets you with empathy, clarity, and respect. I welcome you to reach out and schedule your initial consultation.

With 30 years of experience, I've learned that healing is never 'cookie-cutter.' I bring a warm, compassionate, and uniquely personal perspective to therapy, honoring the individuality of your story with the wisdom of a clinician, wife, and mother.
After many years in social work, I've come to believe that the most effective therapy doesn't come from a one-size-fits-all approach, but from meeting you exactly where you are. I believe in deeply individualized care, partnering with you to identify your goals and help you make rapid, meaningful progress. With a unique perspective shaped by my own journey through challenges and trauma, I offer an open-minded, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly understood and empowered to heal.
My approach is client-centered and eclectic—I tailor my methods to your unique needs rather than one fixed style. I draw on CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy and specialize in trauma-informed care and grief counseling. Whether processing trauma, facing a crisis, or adjusting to change, I'm here to create a space where you feel heard and empowered.
I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to act as a supportive guide on your journey toward healing. You've already shown immense strength by looking for support. I believe that everyone has the ability to grow and create meaningful change, and I use a compassionate, strengths-based approach to help clients feel confident as they navigate life's challenges.
Hi, I'm an LPC and NCC with a Master of Science in Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University and three years of experience. I've had the privilege of working with elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as adults of all ages, supporting them through anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns. Whether you're navigating school, career, family responsibilities, or personal growth, I believe each person's experiences and goals are unique. I work to create a supportive environment where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered to make positive changes.
My approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and supportive. I specialize in working with middle to late adolescents and adults, integrating CBT, SFBT, and Reality Therapy to help clients recognize patterns and build on strengths. I believe therapy is a partnership, and clients can expect a warm, nonjudgmental, culturally responsive space focused on growth.
I understand that beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and I strive to make the process welcoming and comfortable. My goal is to help clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life's challenges and work toward the changes they want.
