I’m Sabrine Alexander, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing compassionate, trauma-informed therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I work with clients experiencing trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, family conflict, relationship challenges, stress, and life transitions.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I use evidence-based approaches, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing, tailored to each client’s needs. I also support children and adolescents with behavioral challenges.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. My goal is to meet you where you are, provide a space where you feel heard and respected, and help you develop the insight, skills, and confidence needed to heal, grow, and create meaningful change in your life.

"I believe healing begins when you feel truly heard, understood, and accepted, and I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can safely process your experiences, recognize your strengths, and build the tools needed to create meaningful change."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I am especially passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and other significant life challenges.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, family conflict, or major life transitions.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
You do not have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Come as you are. Therapy is a safe space to feel heard, understand yourself more deeply, develop healthier ways of coping, and move forward at your own pace. Sometimes the most important step toward healing is simply deciding to begin.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know one another.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
Both my professional experiences and my own life experiences have taught me that people often carry challenges that others cannot see, and sometimes simply feeling heard, understood, and supported can be an important part of healing.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. I take the time to understand each client’s unique experiences, strengths, challenges, culture, relationships, and goals.
