Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I’m deeply drawn to helping people feel heard, understood, and empowered. Being alongside someone as they navigate pain, growth, or change is both a privilege and a purpose for me.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with clients who are open to self-exploration, whether they’re navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or past wounds, and I especially connect with those who may feel stuck but are ready to take small, meaningful steps toward change.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I'm most excited to work with clients who are curious about themselves, willing to be honest; even if it’s messy and motivated to grow, heal, and create more fulfilling lives.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish all clients knew that they don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Just showing up is already a powerful and courageous first step.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I chose to work with Thriveworks because its values of empathy, collaboration, and client-centered care deeply align with my own approach to therapy, creating a supportive environment where both clients and therapists can thrive.
What inspires you?
I'm inspired by the resilience of people, the way they keep showing up, even after setbacks, and the quiet strength it takes to be vulnerable, seek help, and choose growth.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming space where we’ll get to know each other, talk about what’s bringing them to therapy, and begin to explore goals—no pressure, just a chance to start building trust and understanding.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
In the first session, my goal is to create a sense of safety and connection, understand what’s bringing the individual to therapy, and begin to clarify what they hope to get out of our work together, laying the foundation for a collaborative, supportive relationship.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
Clients should know that I bring a grounded, compassionate, and nonjudgmental approach to therapy. I value authenticity, meet people where they are, and believe that meaningful change starts with feeling truly seen and heard.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
In my spare time, I love to travel, read, spend time with family and give back to the community.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
One thing that defines me outside of my professional life is my love for my family. Being with them helps me stay grounded, present, and connected to what really matters.
