About Jasmine
Hi, I'm an LPC and NCC with a Master of Science in Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University and three years of experience. I've had the privilege of working with elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as adults of all ages, supporting them through anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns. Whether you're navigating school, career, family responsibilities, or personal growth, I believe each person's experiences and goals are unique. I work to create a supportive environment where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered to make positive changes.
My approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and supportive. I specialize in working with middle to late adolescents and adults, integrating CBT, SFBT, and Reality Therapy to help clients recognize patterns and build on strengths. I believe therapy is a partnership, and clients can expect a warm, nonjudgmental, culturally responsive space focused on growth.
I understand that beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and I strive to make the process welcoming and comfortable. My goal is to help clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life's challenges and work toward the changes they want. If you are ready to begin your journey toward growth, I would be honored to support you along the way.

"I believe that everyone has the ability to grow and create meaningful change, and I use a compassionate, strengths-based approach to help clients feel confident as they navigate life's challenges."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I believe representation matters, and I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where people feel welcome, respected, and acknowledged.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with high school students, including diverse learners. I also work well with adults, young to elderly. Some of the primary diagnoses I have worked with include ADHD, anxiety, autism, emotional disturbance, stress, selfesteem, grief and loss, PTSD, and life transitions.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish clients knew that therapy is a journey, and growth does not happen overnight. Healing looks different for everyone, and taking small steps toward self-awareness, understanding, and change is a meaningful process. Some days will be easy, hard, scary, thoughtprovoking, and/or everything in between. You don't need to navigate life's challenges alone, and therapy can provide the support and tools needed to help you move forward.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can expect me to approach their first session with curiosity, openness, and a genuine desire to understand who they are as individuals. In the beginning stages, I take time to learn about their personality, experiences, strengths, and goals so that I can adapt my approach to best support their needs. I strive to create a relaxed, welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves and know they are supported throughout the therapeutic process.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe each client is a unique individual, and every session may look different depending on where they are in their journey. I strive to meet clients where they are in the moment by considering their experiences, needs, goals, and personal strengths. As I get to know each client, I adapt my approach to provide support that feels meaningful, effective, and aligned with their individual needs.
