I teach tools utilized in trauma-based therapy to develop a more in-depth approach to understanding the different aspects of trauma, such as the body and trauma and the ways trauma impacts the brain, as well as learning techniques to manage triggers.

How do you know when a client is making meaningful progress in PTSD/trauma therapy?

I know a client is making progress when they are able to experience life through a lens that is not dominated by their trauma and they are able to gain a new sense of freedom.

What can clients do in their personal time to supplement PTSD/trauma therapy?

I encourage my clients to engage in self-care activities, as well as self-empowering activities.
