I’m passionate about supporting individuals and families in my community, drawing on my experience with trauma and perinatal mental health to create a compassionate, empowering space for healing and growth.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 7 years of experience serving individuals and families across Texas. I specialize in providing bilingual services in English and Spanish, offering a culturally responsive approach that values family, community, and personal identity. I have worked in community mental health, inpatient, and outpatient settings, helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions with compassion and professionalism.
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I also hold a Bachelor’s in Rehabilitative Services. My background in rehabilitation and counseling allows me to integrate empathy, structure, and strength-based strategies to support each client’s growth and healing journey.

Christine Fatherree, LCSW, brings over 25 years of experience in the mental health field, working in a variety of roles to support adult clients seeking growth, healing, and clarity. She is deeply committed to helping individuals explore their concerns and make meaningful changes in their lives.
Christine works with adults experiencing depression, grief, life transitions, and trauma (though not military-related trauma). She understands that beginning therapy often starts with important questions—and that exploring those questions can lead to real transformation. Her therapeutic approach is tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from a range of evidence-based practices including traditional Talk Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

Christopher Rodriguez is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 5 years of experience in the mental health field. He is passionate about helping individuals, adolescents, and couples to better cope with relationship issues, depression, anxiety, life management issues, and more.
Chris completed his Master's degree in Psychology at Brandman University. He is a Veteran of the United States Navy with experience in identifying issues and treating a wide range of conditions, in combination with experience in case management, mental health court, and individuals with severe mental health diagnoses. Chris utilizes an eclectic and holistic approach to include a variety of treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), motivational interviewing, and the Gottman method.

My go-to approach for helping people in teen therapy is cognitive behavioral therapy. I enjoy CBT because you are able to work to shape their perception of themselves and life in a positive light.
I teach about the following in teen counseling: safety, relationships, triggers, anxiety, depression, stress regulation, coping skills, and self-esteem.
I know a client is making meaningful progress in teen counseling when their symptoms are decreasing in self-reports.
Clients can supplement their time in teen counseling by taking the time to practice activities given to them in sessions.
To prepare for their first teen counseling session, a teen can have an idea of areas where they think they struggle and not just have the parents say what is “wrong” with them.
Teen counseling helps young individuals better understand and manage the challenges that affect their mental health. Common challenges amongst teens include anxiety, depression, ADHD, and problematic relationships with food.
Teen counseling works by using multiple techniques, tailored to fit the teen’s unique needs — based on their age group, their challenges, and the severity of their challenges. It might involve cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, art therapy, and others for varying ages.
