Columbia Therapy – Mental Health Servies, Life Coaching in South Carolina

In life, there are always things we can improve on. Our friendships, our career, our romantic relationships; there are so many different areas to judge your success. The sheer overwhelming number of different things you can either succeed or fail at can make some people shut down and give up. For others, it can make them anxious and unable to concentrate on accomplishing just one small thing. The world is full of demands, and it is no indication of weakness to need some help sorting out these demands and concerns. When the regular demands of life become overwhelming, or when an unusual event or circumstance get in the way of your ability to function, let a Thriveworks Columbia counselor or coach help guide you back to health.

Thriveworks counselors, therapists, and coaches deal are equipped to deal with very serious mental health issues, and we also have life coaches, ready to help you make changes in your life for the better. We know that you have many choices for your mental health care needs. Make the safe call that will help change the trajectory of your life for the better.

Thriveworks Columbia has counselors and therapists that are experts in many areas. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Addictions
  • Autism and other developmental disorders
  • Depression and bipolar disorder
  • Schizophrenia and other personality disorders
  • Marriage and couples counseling
  • Premarital counseling
  • Anxiety and panic disorders
  • Career counseling
  • Life coaching
  • Addictions
  • Posttraumatic stress disorder
  • Sex addiction

This is only a partial list of the areas in which we can be of assistance. This is not an exhaustive list of the areas that Thriveworks Columbia counselors have specialties, but it is a good starting point to identify something that might be troubling you. You may be able to identify your concerns in this list, or perhaps you cannot. Either way, if you are looking for help, Thriveworks Columbia is a smart and helpful choice.

We are all so busy, so overworked, so stressed, we have little time for true analysis of our emotions and feelings. If you are considering connecting with a Thriveworks Columbia counselor or therapist, you are about to take an important first step in creating the type of life you have always wanted. You are on your way to finding freedom, happiness, and success.

Perhaps you are looking for help with your teenager, partner, or child. When a loved one if struggling, it affects the entire family unit. Depending on which member of the family unit is experiencing difficulties, it can nearly bring normal family life to a grinding halt. Despite your best efforts, pleading, and begging for change, this is all futile until the person that is struggling actually wants to make a change. Teenagers are notoriously stubborn, and unwilling to open up to their parents. Thriveworks counselors can be a partner in your parenting that can help your teen be more open and honest with others, as well as themselves.

Although teens may scream and slam doors, when a young child is in need of mental health care, they are usually unable to articulate their feelings or speak up for themselves. If a child has suffered a trauma, it can be very difficult to get him or her to open up and express their feelings. You may be entirely unsure of your child’s mental health status and simply be looking for a check-up. Thriveworks Columbia has experts in child therapy, and can partner with both the child and the parent to develop a plan for assessment and treatment.

We value and respect you, as well as your time and demanding schedule. For this reason, Thriveworks Columbia does not operate with a waiting list. At many counseling offices, you may wait days for a return phone call, and then weeks for the first available appointment. Thriveworks is different. For most new clients, we have appointments available within 24 hours. Do not let a long waiting list at an unorganized office slow down your progress towards your goal.

We can help create real change in your life. Create a new day, a new opportunity for success, and a new you. You do not have to walk through life alone. You are a strong, capable person, able to make the changes necessary to make your dreams come true. It would be our honor to walk with you on this journey of healing and growth. Call us today.

n't bad therapists, and I was a rogue client. It's more likely we were a bad fit, but to all the people who are only looking to nip an imbalance in the bud, do yourself a favor and research. It will save you thousands on appointments. I had sessions with Mr. Pellicer every week and Dr. Pena occasionally for 5 months. Some therapists aren't for everyone, and you shouldn't trust anyone but yourself to make that clear. Feeling worse every week isn't indicative of recovery. I left that office for the last time feeling the same as when I first came in, nothing. If you find yourself coming out of a session feeling like you only have to make it through a week before you get to go back, ask yourself what the therapy is doing to you. I was pushed spirituality as a solution to my problems, but now I know that was never an issue. After a low that landed me in the hospital, I was connected to a more experienced therapist and over roughly 10 sessions, I learned how to trust myself. I came out stronger, but it was hard to accept the absurdity of why I let it all go on for so long.
