I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with 13 years of experience treating adults with mental health and substance use disorders in inpatient, outpatient, and residential settings. I earned my ASN from Indiana University and completed my graduate studies there. I understand the importance of providing a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and understood. I am committed to building rapport based on trust, open communication, empathy, and clinical expertise.
As a registered nurse and nurse practitioner, I've learned listening and compassion are as important as treatment. My focus is on mood disorders, grief, insomnia, trauma, substance use, and chronic mental illness, using assessments and medication management. I am both a provider and an advocate committed to making sure you are seen, respected, and empowered.
I'll provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where we can form a therapeutic alliance and collaborate on a plan unique to your needs. My dedication is rooted in a personal journey: family and friends who have struggled with mental health and substance use. I believe we can create achievable, sustainable goals built on empathy, compassion, and listening.
