Kristina Turner is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who has 11 years of experience in the mental health field. Kristina has worked in a variety of clinical settings including state hospitals treating chronic mental illnesses. She has experience in clinical outpatient settings focusing on the treatment of personality disorders and mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, as well as trauma. Kristina’s most recent experience is in helping others overcome addiction through medical detox, rehabilitation, and recovery-based group therapy.
Kristina completed her Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling Psychology at Bowie State University. Her great passion is to bring healing to people who are struggling with stress, depression, anxiety. There is no "one size fits all" approach to healing and Kristina’s training in various treatment modalities prepares her to help meet clients where they are. Her overall goal is to help clients create a healthy perception of themselves, their families, and the world around them.
Kristina invites you to meet with her and see if you are a good fit. She is presently accepting new clients for telehealth services to help clients feel more comfortable in their own setting while being flexible with scheduling. The building is part of the Jefferson Medical Office Park and will be on your right, just past the intersection. Look for the large brick building with a covered front entrance.
