About Katherine
"As an open-minded lesbian social worker in a conservative-minded area, I understand that it can be difficult to stand up for oneself and stand out from the crowd."
Kathy Henson is a Licensed Certified Social Worker with 11 years of experience in mental health. She realizes that the simple things in life can become complex quickly, and that sometimes you just need a helping hand to figure things out. Kathy is interested in working with adults with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and major life transitions.
Kathy completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock. After 20+ years of working to help others, she decided that she wanted to do more than help someone find the peanut butter in aisle 3. Her experience in advocating for others in customer service and retail management led her to advocate for her clients in social work.
We all go through different experiences and see things through different filters. Kathy wants to help you take your experiences and your filters, and make those things make sense with the rest of the world. Kathy will not ask you do to anything that she is not willing to do herself. If you think that Kathy's approach sounds like something you are interested in, schedule an appointment with her today!
Kathy does not provide court ordered services or ESA letters.

About Jacob
"I am grateful you are here and my hope is that I can help you with the challenges you are having right now."
Jacob is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Missouri and Arkansas with nearly 11 years of experience in the mental health field working with children, adolescents, and adults. Jacob offers insight-oriented psychotherapy for those looking to expand their understanding of themselves and their relationships. Jacob also provides treatment for difficult emotions, anxiety, depression, trauma, relational and family challenges, as well as working with parents to improve and deepen their relationship with their children.
Jacob’s approach to psychotherapy is both warmly collaborative and challenging. The therapeutic relationship is one of the most significant factors in therapy and it’s built on trust, consistency, transparency, and safety. The first few sessions will be about building trust and familiarity, creating a plan for how to best utilize therapy, and then together, beginning to explore the challenges in your life that feel hard to manage alone.
Taking the first step toward healing can feel daunting. Much of therapy is slowing down to reflect on ourselves to understand our experiences, work through painful feelings, and create new meaning in our lives. Therapy can offer opportunities to understand and know yourself on a deeper level to live a life that is richer, more vibrant, and connected.

About Anna
Are you, your child, or your family struggling with anxiety, depression, stress management, or trauma? I have a passion for working with individuals (children and adults), families, and couples. My job is to assist you in helping you look at things differently. Focusing on a shift in perspective allows for needed changes in feelings, thoughts, and behaviors to fall into place. I have been a practicing therapist for 13 years. My aim is to assist individuals, families, and/or couples in creating a better quality of life. So, if a better quality of life is what you are seeking, I want to walk with you on that journey.
I enjoy studying behavior analysis and learning concepts and conditioning. During my collegiate career, I participated in my college's study of Oddity Concepts in Learning. I graduated cum laude with my master's degree in counseling in 2009 from UALR.
Beginning a new mental health journey is not easy, but it is worth the effort. I value the vulnerability that it took to begin this journey. I see you. I hear you. Let's take this journey together. Therapy is not an overnight fix. There is not magic wand. It won't always be easy. But, it will be worth it. Are you ready?
